Invitation to Apply for a Scholarship
The Sky Soldiers Foundation Scholarship Fund seeks to provide support to applicants embarking in post high school education and displaying the potential to earn either technical, associate, undergraduate or post graduate degrees from accredited educational institutions, community colleges, colleges or universities.
Scholarship Application Guidelines Summary
2020 Application Process begins Feb. 1st, 2020
The applicant or the sponsor is required to be a member in good standing with the 173d Airborne Brigade Association or was up to their death, fallen Sky Soldier’s (Gold Star) spouse or their direct descendants are exempted from the Association membership requirement. To qualify for a Scholarship from the Foundation you must be either be a Sky Soldier on active duty, a Veteran Sky Soldier, fallen Sky Soldier’s (Gold Star) spouse or their direct descendant. All other applicants must have a sponsor who is serving or has served with the 173d Airborne Brigade, and the applicant is either the sponsoring Sky Soldier’s spouse, child, grandchild or great grandchild. Relationship proof is required. Scholarship awards are limited to one per person in perpetuity.

Note: Please read carefully the updated application guidelines – very specific rules to qualify
(1) Applications will not be considered if USPS mailed or shipped via other carrier
(2) Application and supporting scanned documents must be submitted electronically as a single PDF file
(3) Refer any questions to email@example.com with subject “Sky Soldier Foundation scholarship question”
